Salama Mobile (“Us” or “We” or “Our”) state:

a. that, our product is a newly released mobile application to be in use in the Republic of Kenya only.

b. That, if the policy is favorable to anyone’s privacy policy in any other country, we have no restriction of the application use.

Salama Mobile (“Us” or “We” or “Our”) is committed to respecting the privacy rights of its users, customers, visitors, and users of its mobile applications and website, as well as its related Products and Services. We created this Privacy Policy to inform you and provide necessary disclosures regarding our collection, use and sharing of information when you use Our Products and Services.

3. Salama Mobile Information Collection, Use and Share by

To identify you with Our Products and Services, you must provide information related to user's organization number, service number, and mobile number. When using Our Products and Services, you consent to the collection, storage, processing, and disclosure of this information as described in this Privacy Policy.

a. Information collected and Use

For the purpose of registration, you provide us with identifying information, including your organization number, service number and phone number(with a prefix (country code), for example, +254xxx)

b. Transmission of data to our server and storage

Salama Mobile (“Us” or “We” or “Our”) state:

(1) That, our customer information is transmitted securely to our server and safely stored. In case of any breach of our security, we shall contact the affected customers in the immediate time. Customers have the right to inquire about suspicious breach reports at support@imoran.ke

(2) That our customers have the right to request for the data stored in our server be sent to them or be deleted completely, through the current communication channel at support@imoran.ke

c. Sharing of Information

Customer information is not shared with a third party.

Use of our products in a way that breaks the rule of law and the Constitution of the country of residence might lead to our cooperation with government policy to provide evidence where our product is involved.

5. Application not for under-age use

Salam Mobile (“Us” or “We” or “Our”) state:

a. That, Salama Mobile App is not for use by children under the age of eighteen (18) years. In accordance to Kenyan laws, one will attain the National Identity (ID) card at the age of 18 years, and That, ID is required during the registration of phone numbers by Telecommunication companies operating in Kenya. Therefore, an under 18-year-old is expected not to hold a national ID and have not registered phone numbers with their own identifying details.

6. Application Permission Request

Salama Mobile (“Us” or “We” or “Our”) state:

a. That, our product is for sending encrypted text messages, uploading and downloading shared files, and making video and audio calls through the mobile device using user's Internet connectivity (Mobile Data and Wifi).

b. That, the application can request permission to send notifications.

b. That, application can request permission to access files, Photos and Videos, in order to select and share the file, photo or video from the device.

c. That, the application can request permission to access camera and microphone permissions in order to allow video and audio calls functionalities.

d. That, the application can request permission to access contacts when sharing phone number to another user.

e. That, the application can request permission to access location when user wants to share location with other user/s.

f. That, user can decline the requested permissions.

7. Application Payment

Salama Mobile (“Us” or “We” or “Our”) state or declare:

a. That, Salama Mobile app is free to download and install to the device.

b. That, the organization is responsible for the running cost of the application.

c. That, Salama Mobile does not bring up ads.

8. Policy Updates and Modifications

Salama Mobile (“Us” or “We” or “Our”) state or declare:

a. That, we may update or modify this policy from time to time.

b. That, we shall make the latest policy on this site and give notice on the applications.
